Bliss GVS Pharma Limited is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company, located in Andheri, Maharashtra, India. Bliss GVS is 40-year-old Indian drug manufacturing company. It has set up a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for Oral solids and Semisolid dosage forms. It has installed new edge blister packing lines from Uhlmann to bring the quality, efficiency and productivity in its overall manufacturing operations.

Amar Pawar: Ability to produce quality product with efficiency and productivity.
Interviewer: Is an efficient blister packaging eBL350 line in production?
Amar Pawar: Yes, it’s already 3 blisters and cartoners eBL350 lines are already in production and actively being showcased and deployed. Monitored OEE ShiftWise and found good as expected
Interviewer: How are operators satisfied with eBL350 blister line?
Amar Pawar: The operators are very satisfied with the eBL350 blister line. They have found it to be user-friendly, efficient, and reliable. The training provided by Uhlmann ensured that our team was well-prepared to handle the new line, and the ongoing support has been excellent. This has resulted in smooth operations and a high level of operator satisfaction.
Interviewer: To ensure that Uhlmann remain a competent partner to the pharmaceutical industry in the future, we constantly looking for ideas.
Amar Pawar: Pharmaceutical packaging now heading towards more automation and use of technology. Use of AI can be integrated in machine setting and operation and overall to control the change over time and rejections. If machines started providing rejection trends it would be of good help to improve productivity and efficiency.
